Cookie Policy

Tento dokument je momentálně dostupný pouze v angličtině.

1. What this policy covers

Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device, sent back on your next visit so the site can recognise the request. This policy also covers similar technologies such as browser local storage and session storage that read or store information on your device in the same way. Wherever this policy says "cookies", it means cookies and those similar technologies together.

It applies to the Axyra websites at www.axyra.cloud, www.axyracloud.com, www.axyra.sk and www.axyra.cz, together with the apex-domain addresses that redirect to them. For www.axyra.cz, the legal documents are provided in English.

The sections below explain the categories of cookies that may be used on these websites, what each category is for, the legal basis on which it is set, and how you can control it. Where a category is not in use during your visit, its description simply does not apply to you.

2. Categories of cookies and similar technologies

We group cookies into the categories below. Where we use cookies from a category, they serve the purposes described for that category and nothing else.

2.1 Strictly necessary (technical)

These cookies are needed to deliver the website you asked for and to keep it working and secure. Typical uses are routing your request to the right server, balancing load, keeping the state of a page or a form while you use it, and recording the cookie choices you have made so that we can apply them. Storage that protects a form or the site against automated abuse belongs here only where it is limited to that purpose and to the service you asked for; anything wider is treated as non-essential and set only with your consent. If you block this kind of storage, parts of the website may stop working correctly.

2.2 Functional or preference

These cookies remember choices you make so that the site behaves the way you left it, for example a display setting, a language preference, or another option you selected. Section 3 explains when a cookie of this kind needs your consent and when it does not.

2.3 Analytics or measurement

These cookies help us understand how the website is used: how many people visit, which pages they read, and where something is slow or broken. We use what we learn to improve the site, not to identify you personally. Where we use cookies of this kind, they are set only after you have given your consent.

2.4 Marketing

These cookies are used to measure the performance of campaigns and to show content or advertising that is relevant to you, including on other websites, and they may involve profiles built across sites or sessions. Where we use cookies of this kind, they are set only after you have given your consent.

Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement, because storing or accessing them is necessary to provide the service you have requested. The same exemption covers storage that does nothing more than remember a choice you made yourself, such as a display or language preference. That exemption follows from Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC and, in Slovak law, from § 109 ods. 8 zákona č. 452/2021 Z. z. o elektronických komunikáciách. We describe such cookies in this policy even though your consent is not needed for them.

Cookies that are not covered by that exemption, in particular analytics or measurement and marketing cookies, are non-essential. Non-essential cookies are set only with your consent, obtained before they are placed on your device. Where such cookies are used, a cookie consent banner is shown before they are set, you can accept or refuse each category separately, and refusing is as easy as accepting. Refusing does not stop you reading the site or contacting us; some optional extras, such as content embedded from another provider, may not load until you accept.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time and as easily as you gave it, with effect for the future. Where personal data is processed on the basis of your consent, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You can also remove stored cookies through your browser at any time, as described in section 5.

4. Third-party content and services

We rely on service providers to operate the website, and individual pages may embed content or functionality provided by others, for example a video player, a map, a service that protects a form against automated abuse, or the tool that records your cookie choices. Where such content or service is present, the provider may set its own cookies and read information from your device, and it may act as an independent controller for that processing under its own privacy policy.

Any such cookie that is not covered by the exemption described in section 3 falls under the consent mechanism set out there: it is set only after you consent, and the provider concerned is identified in the consent banner and its settings at the time. Following a link from our website to a third-party website takes you outside this policy, and the policies of that website apply from that point on.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

Whatever you choose on the website, you remain in control of what is stored on your device. Every mainstream browser lets you view, delete and block cookies, usually from its privacy or security settings, and most offer a private or incognito mode that discards storage when you close it. Your browser's help pages describe the exact steps for your version.

Two things are worth knowing. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website from working correctly. And where you have made a cookie choice, that choice is itself remembered on your device, so deleting your cookies also deletes the record of it and you may be asked again on your next visit.

6. Changes and contact

We update this policy whenever the way we use cookies changes. If we introduce a cookie that requires consent, we will ask for your consent before it is set and publish the updated version of this policy. The version published at /legal/cookie-policy is always the current one.
